    The Early Days

    My journey began with a deep-seated love for boot camps and marathons.I was a high intensity exercise enthusiast, always pushing my limits to go farther, faster, and harder. Over time, I realized something important: While endurance and high-intensity training were amazing for building mental toughness, they weren’t giving me the results I truly wanted, particularly when it came to body composition and overall strength. I was getting fitter, but I wasn’t building the type of strength and physique that I felt aligned with my goals. I wanted more than just being able to run farther or perform faster in a boot camp class—I wanted a body that was strong, balanced, and capable in every sense. That’s when I made a big shift. As much as running and boot camps had taught me about endurance and mental toughness, I was craving a new kind of challenge—something that would push my body and mind in ways that I hadn’t experienced before. I needed something uncomfortable—something that would force me to grow physically and mentally, and bodybuilding was the answer!

    Personal Experience

    Bodybuilding opened my eyes to a whole new world of fitness. Getting into bodybuilding wasn’t easy. It was a massive shift from the marathon mindset I had grown accustomed to. Bodybuilding demanded a level of precision, dedication, and patience that I had never experienced before. It wasn’t just about lifting heavier weights or getting stronger—it was about sculpting every muscle, optimizing every aspect of my training, and fine-tuning my nutrition to achieve a lean, muscular physique. While bootcamp training styles had helped me achieve great endurance and stamina, they didn’t address the deeper need for muscle development, strength, or body composition change. Bodybuilding was grueling, uncomfortable, and required a new level of discipline, but that was exactly why I chose it. I knew that pushing myself in this way would lead to growth—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

    My journey is a testament to the power of stepping outside your comfort zone, embracing the discomfort, and using it as a catalyst for change.

    Becoming a Trainer

    Through bodybuilding, I learned the value of consistency, the importance of recovery, and the necessity of doing the things that make you uncomfortable in order to see real transformation. I realized that growth doesn’t happen when we stay in our comfort zones—it happens when we challenge ourselves to go beyond what we think is possible. Today, as a NASM certified personal trainer, I blend my experiences in endurance training, strength training, and bodybuilding to offer a holistic approach to fitness. After years of training and learning from various mentors, becoming a CPT was the next step. This was not just a career choice for me; it was a calling. I wanted to empower others to achieve their goals and live healthier lives, using my knowledge and experiences to inspire and motivate those around me. I’m passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals, whether that’s building muscle, improving body composition, or simply feeling confident and strong. My approach blends the best of all worlds: strength training, mindset development, and functional fitness, so you can look, feel, and perform your best.     Finding myself again

    My fitness journey began after the birth of my first daughter. After gaining over 60 pounds and battling postpartum depression, I found myself lost in the transition to motherhood and no longer recognized the woman in the mirror. Taking on the roles of a mom and a stay-at-home parent left me questioning my identity and purpose. I needed an outlet to reconnect with myself, and the gym became that space for me—a sanctuary where I could heal, reflect, and rediscover my strength.

    After the birth of my second daughter, my passion for fitness truly took off. I decided to challenge myself in a new way and entered the world of bodybuilding which deepened my love for the sport and the fitness industry as a whole.

    Transformation

    Training for my first competition was a life-changing experience. It wasn’t just about physical transformation; it was about rebuilding my health from the inside out. The discipline and structure of bodybuilding taught me how to properly fuel my body, prioritize rest and recovery, and understand the importance of balance. It wasn’t just about how I looked—it was about feeling strong, energized, and in control again. Competing pushed me to confront and overcome self-doubt. Each step of the journey, from early morning workouts to precise meal planning, reminded me of my resilience and determination. Stepping on that stage was not just a personal achievement but a celebration of how far I had come, mentally and physically. It rekindled my love for fitness and gave me the confidence to share this passion with others.

    The Next Natural Step

    The experience of bodybuilding didn’t just transform my body; it transformed my mindset. It taught me the value of setting goals, staying consistent, and celebrating progress—no matter how small. That’s when I realized I wanted to help other women experience their own transformations. Becoming a certified personal trainer felt like the natural next step. My mission is to empower women who feel stuck or lost, helping them rediscover their strength, reignite their spark, and build confidence, and identity through fitness.
